Exhausts That Slip OVER the Header
Our sizing for Style 2 is the OD measurement of the exhaust.
Example: Style 2 45mm exhaust will have a 45mm OD inlet to slide into headers that are between 45.1mm ID to 46mm ID.
Style 2 is for headers with an exhaust that slides into the header. There are no relief cuts and no clamp is included since it requires reusing the factory clamp that is attached to your factory header.
Frequently Ask Questions
Many of our customers use our shorty GP exhausts to custom fit onto their motorcycles with great results. We recommend measuring the Outside Diameter of the pipe where you plan to attach our exhaust. Just let us know the Outside Diameter and we can get you an exhaust that fits perfect on your custom application. We have attached sample photos of the measurement we need. You can use a ruler or caliper to measure the diameter.
You can send us a photos of the measurement if you would like us to determine the perfect size for your motorcycle.
As with any aftermarket exhaust, tuning is recommended for best performance, but is not required. Many of our customers do not tune their motorcycle after installing our exhaust with no problems.
Without tuning, horsepower is increased only at full throttle and torque is decreased during normal riding. If tuning is done, both horsepower and torque are increased.

Without tuning, horsepower is increased only at full throttle and torque is decreased during normal riding. If tuning is done, both horsepower and torque are increased. Our exhausts are very similar to Voodoo gp, Hotbodies gp, and M4 gp, but at a fraction of the price.
You can purchase a dynojet powercomander from ebay. The Dynojet powercommander is relatively easy to install and works great with our exhaust.
No, we do not have fuel maps or tuning maps available. This can be done at your local performance shop.

Yes, you need to remove the factory gasket seal. The clamp we provided with the exhaust does not require the factory gasket seal. The clamp attaches directly to your header and forms a leak-free seal.
To tune a Carburetor motorcycle, you will need to re-jet the motorcycle. We recommend purchasing a Dynojet stage 1 jet kit. The Dynojet jet kit is relatively easy to install and works great with our exhaust.

This exhaust is designed with a small baffle and exhaust packing inside. The baffle and exhaust packing helps tone down the exhaust sound. This exhaust sounds different than just taking off your muffler and having a straight pipe. The exhaust is a straight through design similar to a Voodoo GP exhaust and a Hotbodies GP exhaust, but at a fraction of the cost.
We have another listing that is bundled with a Shorty GP Baffle Catalyst. Customers wanted the option of having the baffle optional because some customers prefer a more aggressive sound with the option of toning down the sound.
We have a Shorty GP Baffle Catalyst that is manufactured specifically for our Shorty GP Exhausts. These bolt on baffles help lower the tone of the exhaust by up to 3 DB measured from a distance of 50 feet away. Due to the nature of how short these exhausts are, they will be loud even with the extra baffling. If you want a quiet motorcycle, these exhausts are not for you.
Our Radiant Cycles Shorty GP Baffle is a true catalyst and has a coating that helps reduce emissions. The coaJng consists of planum (Pt), palladium (Pd), and rhodium (Rh) =2:7:1,10g/j3.
Here are some possible reasons why the item did not fit your motorcycle:
Your headers may be aftermarket.
We may have accidentally shipped out the wrong exhaust to you. The exhaust may have been defective.
Different regions around the world may have different header sizes due to emission standards.
You can send us a photo of your measurement and we will be able to get the perfect fit for your header pipe.
We can send you a free replacement for a different size. Please measure the outside diameter of your midpipe/header and let us know what size you need. We want to make sure the replacement exhaust will fit perfectly on your motorcycle. Please let us know what size you need and we will ship another exhaust to you.
The exhaust valve is removed when installing our exhaust. This exhaust is a direct bolt on and no cutting or welding is required for installation. We provide full detailed installation instructions with every purchase. Our exhausts are very similar to Voodoo gp, Hotbodies gp, and M4 gp exhausts, but at a fraction of the cost.
No, This exhaust will not fit your motorcycle if you have an O2 sensor attached to your factory muffler. Our exhausts do not have an O2 port/bung in order to attach the O2 sensor.
We sell our exhausts all over the world so it is difficult for us to advise on rules and restrictions in every country. Please check with your local authority for this information.
Our exhaust sound puts out approximately 95db at 8000 rpm.

This exhaust is designed with a small baffle and exhaust packing inside. The baffle and exhaust packing helps tone down the exhaust sound while allowing maximum exhaust flow. This exhaust sounds different than just taking off your muffler and having a straight pipe.
The butterfly valve is located on the factory muffler and the exup valve motor has 2 cables that connect to the butterfly valve. To keep the check engine light from coming on, you need to disconnect the 2 cables from the factory muffler. Do not disconnect the electrical connector that connects to the exup valve motor. As long as the exup valve motor is kept plugged in, the check engine light will stay off. We recommend keeping the cables connected to the exup valve motor and use a zip tie to hide the cables. This will keep the exup valve motor from spinning freely.
The instructions that come with the exhaust have all the necessary information for installation.
Our exhausts are completely welded and do not come apart. It would be very difficult to add or remove the baffling inside the exhaust because the complete unit has welds. Even with a double baffle, these exhausts are still very loud. If you want a quiet motorcycle, this exhaust is not for you.

These exhausts have an endcap that has relief cuts on the end to clamp securely. We also use high heat ceramic paint and bake our exhausts to cure. We include a retail box and instructions with our exhausts.
We do not have many pictures of the inside of these exhausts at this moment. We have attached the only picture we have of the baffle inside. All of our shorty GP exhausts come with a 2 piece double baffle and fiberglass exhaust packing inside.
These exhausts have an endcap that has relief cuts on the end to clamp securely. We also use high heat ceramic paint and bake our exhausts to cure. We also include a retail box and instructions with our exhausts. Every exhaust comes with a 60 day, 100% satisfaction guarantee and also a 1 year free replacement warranty on all of our exhausts.
Most of our customers have great success using the Hot bodies map on their motorcycles. It's a good start, but some slight adjustments are required. We recommend getting the motorcycle professionally tuned on a dyno.
The decibel rating was measured on different motorcycles and at different distances. For a Suzuki Bandit GSF600, These exhausts are rated at 105db measured from a distance of 3 feet away from the motorcycle. The 95db rating is for motorcycles that have a factory catalytic converter that the exhaust attaches to.
When you receive the 2 new clamps, please make sure the exhaust clamp is lined up to the edge of the exhaust. To do this, loosen the clamp nut. Set the exhaust standing upright on a flat surface and slide the clamp all the way down to the flat surface so the clamp sits flush with the inlet on the exhaust. This allows the exhaust the most clamping ability in order to securely attach the exhaust.
We do not have an exhaust specifically for your 1999 750 Monster at the moment. Many of our customers use our shorty GP exhausts to custom fit onto their motorcycles with great results. The 1999 750 Monster has an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve for the exhaust connection. We recommend attaching our Style 1 exhaust over both the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve because these exhaust attach more securely going over than sliding into the exhaust sleeves. To do this, you just need to measure the outer diameter of the outer sleeve where your new exhaust will slide over your header. Please measure the outside diameter of your outer sleeve and let us know what size it is. We will be able to get you an exhaust that works perfectly on your application.
We have a Shorty GP Baffle available that can be added into the exhaust to lower the noise.
This particular exhaust is 9" long from end to end and 1.2" of the exhaust length slips over the header pipe to clamp securely.
This exhaust will not hurt your valves or engine. Backpressure is reduced with this exhaust compared to stock. It is a misperception that low backpressure damages valves with modern day motorcycles. Older motorcycles and cars back in the day used to have this issue. With today's advances in manufacturing and the use of engine computers, the metals used for manufacturing engines do not get damaged by reduced backpressure and engine computers can adjust the fuel curve slightly.
Even with the factory muffler, if you full throttle your motorcycle everywhere you go, your engine will not last long. Aggressive riders usually have premature engine wear when they redline their motorcycle often and push their motorcycle to the limits.
